Spend Turkey Day with the Dolphins 🦃🐬

Gobble gobble… though you may not see a turkey in the water, you will certainly catch sight of a dolphin this Fall. Grab the family, even Cousin Eddy, and book a cruise aboard the Dolphin Quest, Royal Conquest or Shark Boat over the Thanksgiving holiday!

The way we celebrate here in John’s Pass is by saying hello to the 450 or so Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins that live in Boca Ciega Bay. Though we celebrate the holiday a little differently - we like mashed potatoes and gravy, they like squid — that’s spirit of the season, isn’t it? Bring everyone on board for a holiday they soon won’t forget.

Captain Driftwood and Marine Specialist Kirsten Smail visited Bauder Elementary this week for the Great American Teach In! We were thrilled to share stories of dolphins and the history of John’s Pass with the students. Among the many questions that were thrown their way, one stood out - “Are you a real pirate?” The answer to that is yes, of course.

This was our first such event that we hope to take part in again. Thank you for having us, Bauder Elementary School!
