Dolphins Don't Take Summer Break
Hit the Water Before it's Back to School!

As the kids head back to school and parents can take a breather, we too are adapting to what we call the ‘slow season.’ Truthfully, “slow” simply means fewer children and more adults during the day!
This is also the best time for us to give our boats a little love. In the next few weeks, our boats will undergo various tune-ups and care. You may notice the Pirate Ship Royal Conquest gone for a few days, but fear not - it’s merely taking a breather, too.
With that being said, the coming weeks are exciting and not to be missed! Check out details about Final Friday at John’s Pass, meet Captain Mike, and find out why a dolphin cruise should be on your bucket list!

Final Friday at John’s Pass is fast approaching! This month’s final Friday is August 25th. As always, we’ll be slingin’ drinks and partying like the pirates we are. For this occasion, we’ll be giving 10% off gift cards as well as 10% off all cruises booked during the event! You’ll also have an opportunity to take a photo with a pirate and become a part of the crew!
Don’t miss out on the live music and specials that can only be found at John’s Pass!

Captain Mike Bujwalo
Everyone has a story! Let’s meet Captain Mike, navigator extraordinaire!
When I was a teenager, my parents owned a 45-foot Bayliner and we would boat the Ohio river every summer. As the years went on, my parents used their boat less & less and it became a bit of a spot for us teenagers to go and hang out. Of course, staying tied up to the dock just wasn't going to happen! Time passed, life happened. I owned a few boats, raised a family and worked in the steel industry. Unfortunately, in 2020, myself among many, many others were let go do to inactivity in our industry and weren't "essential" enough to keep around.
Coincidentally, the same friend I used to take my parent's boat out with invited me down from Cincinnati to get away for a bit. He decided he was going to start a charter service for himself here in the St. Pete area that same year and convinced me to get my Captain's license. The rest is history.
As Captain, I'm privileged to be at the helm of all three of our vessels – the DolphinQuest, Royal Conquest and Shark Boat. The variety is what makes my work fun, but also, I have the opportunity to introduce people to something they’ve never experienced before. I try to look at each cruise as taking my family & friends out for a great time, every time.
